Judging my Marked's answers I may have been a bit too Marixst in my answers. You don't seem all that liberal to me Marked. Maybe its just the test...

By the way, did anyone else Strongly Agree that the rich are taxed too much?

Everyone is taxed too much as far as I'm concerned. But the rich certainly are.

I am mainly liberal on social issues.

As for money I am conservative but so much of that depends on the greater good to me that a lot of my opinions are liberal in that aspect.

If I could make 10 dollars profit not hurting people or the environment rather than 20 dollars profit and hurting said things, I would do that. That makes me more of a democrat. Or a Republican before then went conservanuts.

Globalization will have its time and it is good that we are working towards it, but not everyone is ready for that. And that is because of education not ability or resources. Which we are plundering the world of by the way, resources are being sucked up from 3rd world countries at an alarming rate that when they are educationaly caught up to us, they will be very pissed and this has a lot to do with why so many people hate us and other devoloped countries. Very drink their milkshake up sort of stuff.

Bailouts and tax cuts are bad. We need to fix a lot of things and get out of debt. That takes money. Pay more in taxes get rid of the deficit, fix education, healthcare and for god's sake stop fucking up the planet.

Let the companies that don't know what the hell they are doing fail. Let them pay billlions of dollars to CEO's if they want. All part of the game. I don't care.

I make a great deal of money in comparison to the average american, I am fine paying my level of taxes. I get a lot of exemptions because of the form it is presented to me in but still I am in a high tax bracket. When I am no longer exempt on most of my salaries, then I am goinig to be just FINE paying higher taxes so that my fellow man can improve our social group as a whole. Totally fine with me. I love roads and schools and advances in science and technology. I will definately pay extra taxes if we can all drive flying cars before I die.

I did, they pay what is it 80% of the taxes? If you ask me that is too much regardless if you think they can or should pay more. TMBH, I find it kind of funny that you have someone quoted in your signature that believed in God. But that's just me.

Anyways, this it was I got

I sort of disagree with where I was placed because ultimately I don't care regarding economics. If you can somehow make pure capitalism work then that's great, and if you can somehow make pure socialism work, then that's great too.

He was a deist, so what. He absolutely murdered your religion in public. You do realize it was he who wrote The Age of Reason, right?

It really doesn't surprise me how close you are to the authoritarian side of the chart.
The study of theology, as it stands in the Christian churches, is the study of nothing; it is founded on nothing; it rests on no principles; it proceeds by no authority; it has no data; it can demonstrate nothing; and it admits of no conclusion.

I'm surprised he's that close to the center.

Anyway, sykane, Thomas Paine was a deist, like most intellectuals of the enlightenment. Science as lacking as it was, it was the most logical stance on the supernatural.
