You'd need thick hair to pull it off. The taper will be from .5" to maybe 2"-2.5". My sides will be mad short though, like a #2 on a razor. like this, except the top will have a really short taper going down into the sides. That's how I style mine in the front everyday, I'm just changing how I do the sides and back.

I really need a haircut. I've gotten it cut by this 60 year old korean lady since I was 9. Don't really know what would suit me though.

that's your problem. you're still with a hairdresser that your parents brought you to when you were a kid, and she's 60. find a new, younger one.
Im on my third. the first being a ~50 year old guy who was stubborn and had old fashioned mentality. left him for a woman who was more in tune with young styles. but still wasnt doing it for me. now im with a younger woman, who's way better than the other two. cuts my hair vertically, the others never once did that

I love my hairdresser. Family friend. Like 25, bright red hair, covered in tats. Knows exactly how to cut my hair. And she uses a razor blade to cut it as well so it lays down and blends better since it cuts hair at a 45 degree angle.

Yeah I know haha. Really need to find a trendy person to do my hair.

This is what it looks like on a great hair day.. aside from those little pieces sticking out on the sides, she always leaves those, probably gonna just cut them. Also the back looks like shit to me.

Spoiler!

I think I'm gonna go the same person tomorrow, tell her to just trim the front/sides a tiny bit, and then cut the back so it matches up with the sides, into a full on bieber. And then switch to a new stylist type place in a couple months when I have the funds to pay for an expensive cut.

You could definitely pull off a layered messy look with the way your hair moves.

It's so clean and combed it looks bad as of now. You just need layers. It's really flat all over.

Probably. I use American Crew Fiber. Good for thick hair. It has no shine and keeps it in place without it being hard.

But my hair acts bit different since I don't wash it. I only wash it once and that's after I get a haircut. So tomorrow will be the first actual shampoo wash since February. It sounds really gross, but after 2 weeks of not washing your hair completely changes. Doesn't feel greasy or oily (longer it gets it can start to feel oily around the forehead scalp area).

Hmm I might have to actually try that out Sky. I want to do something really creative with my hair before I move, need a new look, been rocking the same two looks the past 4 years, getting old.

Super short, and long, and my hair curls like a bitch on the ends.

Hair is super thick, so that product might be cool to try.

For sure need a new hair style though.
