I've been doing caffeine pills for near 3 years. I still love it, but I'm also very curious with Jaime's supplements. I'll probably take them for intensity day only, but we'll see.

Caffeine pills are good to take before a workout? I've just personally never really looked into preworkout supplements and I know that some preworkout supplements and other kinds of legal supplements have shown up badly on drug tests before and I don't wanna risk failing a drug test.

I don't take any supplements. Used to take some pre-workout in high school but I just use food for energy now. I get energy when I go to the gym and once I start working out, idunno.

Also prefer DB rows. Leg day tomorrow.

Is there any food that's better than others to eat before you go to the gym? I've read a variety of opinions on this but what have you guys noticed?

Honestly anything that won't make you feel sluggish or tired. I use to eat a bag or two of peanuts before every work out.

About to eat a pound of hot sausage and half a box of pasta. Thank you bulk. Oh and wash it down with milk.

Quick question: I lost a ton of weight over the past year and I am now very happy with how "lean" I am. But the one section of my body that I could still lose some weight from is the bottom portion of my abs.
I've been doing insanity ab routines pretty consistently on top of my regular running routine for a while now, and due to this the top section of my abs is now getting more and more defined for the first time ever. But for the life of me I can't seem to lose the extra little layer on the bottom section of my abs.
Tips on workouts that might help me rid myself of this extra layer and help define my bottom abs? Or anything else that could help, dietary or cardio-wise?

Should note that I don't go to a gym, just work out from home and run. So I don't have gym equipment available. But help would be very much appreciated.

not gunna be able to actually target that area of fat. your lower abs is where your body naturally stores more fat. so you need to get to a lower bodyfat % overall. You need to be lean and actually have ab muscles to get a 6 pack.

eat less calories and keep up what ever else your doing.

like my body naturally stores fat on my lower abs, ass cheeks, and lower hamstring behind my knee.

I can gauge how much weight I am gaining by how fatty the lower hamstring above my knee looks.
