Today's Workout:
Bodyweight: 158
Squat: 8x195, 8x210, 8x225 (PR)
RDL: 8x195, 8x210, 8x225 (PR)
Bench: 8x115, 8x125, 5x130 (my bench is weak)

So I'm not sure why I'm having such a hard time improving my bench. I've always had a weak chest because I never really worked out, but it's getting better now, just progressing very slowly. Is it possible that my bench is being limited by other muscles and not my chest, or is that unlikely? My biceps/triceps felt sore after I failed at 130, but I couldn't feel much in my chest, so that's why I'm wondering.

Squats felt pretty good. Last set was heavy but I finally felt like my hamstrings were kicking in. Before that weight I could barely feel my hamstrings being used and I'm not sure why, but when I went deep with 225 I could really feel them kick in and it felt pretty good.

Also, what are some good things to do on off days for grip strength and other strength in general?

Currently paralyzed from the waist down and has no health insurance.

off days = curls, /r/griptraining beginners routine, kinda. tricep pushdowns with a band and real easy abs stuff

honestly my bench sucked cock until I really learned how to set up properly and actively keep tight my ass, arch, upper back and abs. took a while to learn that and still working on it.

I've recently switched over from 5/3/1 to a bodybuilding style program. Started out with a rep range of 13-15 and it's slowly coming down. I'm definitely feeling soreness that I'm not used to due to the volume, but it feels great. Going to be on this until about April and then my lifting partner and I are going to try and do some hiit and get cut for summer. I'll probably end up around the same bodyweight I am now but hopefully at around 7-8% bf.

you too. I'm looking into monthly programming for when I'm in china because I doubt I'll e able to keep up weekly progress and really just want to retain some resemblance of strength. though drinking and diet will, as usual, set me back months.

Trying out Russian Bear 5000 instead of my typical Cytogainer. Snagged the last tub at Vitamin Shoppe today too. TY BASED GOD. Also re-upped on my fish oil, multi, and creatine before school starts next week.


Anyone ever try RB before? The nutrition seems pretty godly and I've heard it tastes pretty great.
I always thought there'd be time; turns out there's just roads.
