I played soccer until I was about 15 (I'm almost 21 now), and have played on and off for fun since then, but nothing serious. So I had a bit of a foundation, but I was still pretty skinny when I got to college. My calves were probably the only part of my legs that were well developed. I didn't start weight training until college, and didn't start REALLY knowing what I was doing until about a year ago. Squats are really the only thing I do for my legs. Deadlifts and the occasional glute ham raise too, but thats it. Doing squats, leg presses, lunges, leg curls, calf raises etc is way too much. Go learn to squat (full, deep squats below parallel), and start adding weight. It works wonders. It really is all you need. I don't even do anything for my calves either besides the isometric of balancing the squats. It makes finding pants that fit a bitch, but whatever, I'll take that for the compliments I get.

Go look up rippetoe videos on youtube, they're usually good. If all else fails, go look for videos of olympic lifters squatting. You'll understand what I mean by depth. Most people do shitty half squats and then bitch about how they don't gain size/strength and/or have knee pain. Do them right or don't do them at all.

Anyone have any experience with lands end canvas' more casual button downs (oxfords and the like)? They have a big sale right now, shirts are like $15-20 and I want some. No idea how they fit though.
