Is is the same basic principal? You create a character, and you get let loose in an open world. Then you get to choose what kind of groups you're a part of, and what missions you do and when?

Sorry if these are stupid questions. I would say Skyrim and Destiny are the only two RPG style games I've played.

As far as I can tell, you're only in one group, the "inquisition". You can select which party members accompany you on missions.

It is open world in a sense. There's different areas that are separated with load screens but are gigantic. Tons of shit to do.


I'm limited on RPGs as well and don't feel "qualified" to answer but I think I got the jist covered.
