Out of curiosity what is it about hardy you dislike? I dig his fight style, the fine arts degree(he might have dropped out b4 getting it), the training with buddhist monks, and the general personality of the guy, that thing he does with micheal buffer is highly amusing to me.

I'm beginning to activly dislike GSP. His fight with Fitch was somewhat entertaining, his fight with Penn was a let down, more take him down bs, couldn't finish alves, couldn't finish hardy. The guy is an awesome wrestler but that shit just isn't entertaining for 5 rounds. If he had horrible standup it'd be one thing but as he showed against fitch and somewhat alves GSP has good standup. I wanna see a fight not a wresting match ya know.

There's another ruffhouse fighter who'll probably get a shot at gsp, paul daley, but like every UK fighter the guy has no ground game. So it's pretty easy to predict what will happen in that fight. After daley the division is officially cleaned out. Maybe Paulo Thiago(Brazilian cop guy), but he's already lost to fitch. Hardy vs Thiago would be a good fight.

I have a feeling we'll be seeing Mir against either the loser of Velasquz/dos santos or roy nelson if he wants to start all over. I haven't heard anything since the loss but i really feel bad for the guy. He just got worked like a rookie.

Idk, mostly his attitude I guess and how he carries himself. I personally like his fighting style too but idk, I just don't like the guy.

A win is a win, no matter how it is achieved (as long as it's legit). Whether it was entertaining to the crowed or not, GSP showed skill and out skilled his opponent. Like Joe Rogan always points out, everyone who boo's during a fight are all a bunch of meat heads who look for a 10 second 1st round knock out. They aren't there to appreciate the nature and technicality of the sport. Sure I do like crazy knockouts and stand up brawls but at the same time I recognize how much skill it takes to be good in the UFC, let alone be a great Champ like GSP. I think GSP not being able to finish an opponent only shows how good of a fight the opponent was, not how GSP couldn't/didn't perform great.

Mir does deserve another shot at Brock, but I honestly can't wait for the next HW Championship fight. Should be pretty action packed.

Maybe in the Pride days. Hasn't done much in 2 or 3 years. If and when he takes his ass to the UFC then we can discuss who's the best.

Fair enough. Did you see him at the end of the 1st stand up and look at GSP, that shit is cool to me. Guys i actively dislike would be Lesner, Hughes, and that's about it. I like everybody else.

That's cool, i'm not those one of those meathead ppl who do suck, i enjoy good ground game, for instance the aussie George Sotarapolis is really fun to watch. I respect GSP but at the same time he lost a little of my respect in the hardy fight. Even after 4 rounds of domination and hardy obviously tired he still wouldn't stand with him. I'd bet there were less than 10 punchs thrown in the standup and 7 of them by hardy. It was just a cheap fight to me. Glad i didn't pay for it.

Rogers, a guy who had no business even being in there with Fedor, gave him a pretty good run for his money. Which to me says more about Fedor than it does about Rogers.

To be hoenst, I did. Mir was so focused on Brock, and kept talking "Brock this", and "Brock that", he forgot that he had a f.cking freight train in front of him named Shane Carwin. He wasn't focused on the fight it was clear. And Carwin knocked him into next week, and right out of the title picture.

I'm psyched to see UFC 112! My fav fighter is in the main event, and I hope he'll win, although he always does, it would be very interesting to see him on the ground with Maia. I think if gets to that point, Silva might get submitted. you never know though.

i think it'll also be a good battle between BJ and Edgar, but I see Penn walking out the victor once again. I couldn't give a f..k less about Hughes and Gracie though. It's just gonna be Hughes fighting someone over 40 thats our of their prime, just like Royce.

I'll be of age to go the bars on the 24th and watch Machida vs Shogun 2 at the bars! f..k yeah!!

Who else thinks Dos Santos should fight Velasquez while the whole Carwin vs Brock goes down? I'd pay to see velasquez vs dos santos live. I also was not expecting Mir to loose that quick and by KO. i was pretty shocked.

and i have officially become a fan of Roy Nelson. He's fat, uses his belly to make people laugh and he knocks people out. Those two KO's make up for the b..ch wins he got during TUF

if Mir deserved it, then he would've won..but he didn't. It would be exciting to see a Lesnar and Mir trilogy, but Carwin was simply the better fighter. and Mir got wayyy to ahead of himself with a win over someone like Kongo...

I wish Cro Cop still fought like he did back in Pride. If he did, I could definitely see him being UFC HW Champion.

I never said Carwin didn't earn his shot at the title. I just think Mir deserves it because he is such a great competitor and a great sportsman but like everyone else he still has to win to get to the top.

meh.. i see it as when since brock came in, cause thats initially who he wants the most in the HW division. yeah he beat lesnar, then nog, then lost to lesnar, beat kongo (which in my opinion isn't that big of a deal compared to some of the other HW fighters) and then he lost to Carwin. If it was back in the day when Mir was dominating and if Lesnar was in the UFC at THAT time, THEN he could deserve it.

i hope that makes sense to you? and its just my opinion. no beef. haha
