If you don't believe in creation, then where did you come from, how were we created, how did this universe begin? Did our amazingly complicated body systems just evolve from a single celled organism laying on a rock 100 billion years ago?
basically, yes. But the thing is, I do believe in creation, but I also believe in evolution.

Like i said before, nobody can physically prove any religion at this point in time. It's all based on personal beliefs.

How 'bout personal events?

yes... and it is random changes in the dna/rna that cause evolution and if you would just read up on darwimism youd know wayyyy more about it... as for where the single celled organism came from... i havent the faintest clue....

the only thing that i find interesting about the creation vs. darwinism debate is that it is soooo much easier to just believe (in Christ and the Bible) than it is to understand (the raw and complicated facts uncovered by scientists) i think that it has alot to do with upbringing and the fact that just believing is much easier...

but i also believe that both sides of the debate are possible (no matter how far fetched they are)

ALSO!!! as it appears... you do not believe in evolution/darwinism, so how do you explain how god was created and then how he magically has Jesus without having sex (artificial insemination was clearly not an option) i havent read the bible so i really dont know... but to me that whole idea is wwwwaaaaayyyyy more farfetched than darwinism/evolution

id also like to see some good feedback on my thoughts. THANKS!

I think the same way... although i tend to lean towards the scientific perspective because it makes more sense to me; however, i also think that i would believe more about creation if i went to church (this doesnt mean that i'm not educated on this topic)

There have been people from every single religion claiming they had an experience with their invisible friend.
"...atheism is a term that should not even exist. No one ever needs to identify himself as a 'non-astrologer' or a 'non-alchemist.' We do not have words for people who doubt that Elvis is still alive or that aliens have traversed the galaxy only to molest ranchers and their cattle."

And? I'm not saying it verifies any religion. G_d exists independantly of religion.

Oh, and if you could direct any of those people to me, I'd like to compare experiances. It's much easier to see patterns by comparing similar cases.

Great point.

When 100,000 people (and much more) describe 100,000s of experiences in very much the same manner, I think the pattern is significant.
Thank you.

Yes. That leaves the distinct possibility that I am the victim of thousands of coincidences all converging in all too elegant ways, which other people with similar experiances would help to disprove. And by disprove, I mean make less likely.

One of the prime targets for an investigation like that would be dreams of the future. All dreams that I've had that involved things that later happened had the same general patterns. If that's true with other people, it could lead to a scientifically testable example, allowing that mystery to finally be explained.

edit: Ha... Another first post of the page you owe me. I'm content to trade it for you getting last posts of the page. I still think you're crazy, though.
