Was just in Chicago for 5 nights, got picked up at the airport by a friend to go out in Seattle that night, and the next night. Pretty sure there's only been one day since the 22nd that I didn't drink. My body is broken. And I'm going to Whistler from Thurs-Sun. Ohgawdddd

Yea, go look up ChuanFu squats, it's what the Chinese do. It makes sense to bring your knees in a bit, because as you're coming down you're moving them out (they aren't fully out til the bottom) so you should bring them in on the way up at the same rate as they were going out on the descent. Plus you get more quad off the bottom, and I believe the outside of your hips (which are stretching as you're descending, so you release that energy by bringing your knees in slightly as you go up).
Obviously don't cave your knees, but don't try and keep them all the way out while going up. Let them track back at the same rate they were tracking on the descent.
