I wouldn't be surprised if the blogosphere is saying that about this particular movie. Still feel like combining the two without offering a pure IMAX experience is a cheap ploy. Not that I blame the movie or those who actually created it.

Also, in reference to your earlier question, I would seriously consider going into a gear store (after doing a bit of research to narrow your options) and actually trying a few rigs. What matters most, arguably, is how it feels for you, which isn't a question that you'll get a definitive answer to from reviews, as helpful as those can absolutely be. I'm not sure what's popular in your part of the county but B&H seems pretty universal. Don't forget to take your camera body and a lens you think you'll use, just in case.
