@Klima, yes but the incidents of stoned driving would increase if pot was legalized.

Ok, so I guess 5 minutes was not enough time for you to make a proper argument. I'll give you a 10 minutes head start to come with something else.

edit: make that 15, I have to take a shit..

In portugal drug use decreased after it was decriminalized. I've heard the same kind of stuff about Amsterdam.

People were posting almost the exact same thoughts in my criminalistics class. That's frightening, troll or not. There are people that do believe this crap.

@MsTkEyes

What you don't understand at all is that decriminalization is a totally different story from legalization. Decriminalization means to keep those drugs illegal, but finding a way to deal with the problem of drug usage without sending people to prison for doing drugs. That's not legalization of drugs at all. I totally support the decriminalization of not only marijuana, but all drugs altogether. However, drugs, including marijuana, should stay illegal, with very stiff and harsh penalties for the dealers, but drug users themselves would be legally required to seek treatment and help for their addictions, rather than being thrown in prisons.

Legalizing marijuana would cause it's usage to skyrocket. Legalization is just a horrible idea.

Marijuana being illegal has caused more deaths (cartel violence) than it would if it were legal.

Even if marijuana was legalized, those drug cartel criminals would just find other black markets and other ways to make money through committing crimes. Legalizing pot doesn't stop the drug cartels. Just like how the Mafia existed before and after alcohol prohibition, alcohol prohibition didn't create the Mafia, and legalizing alcohol in 1933 didn't stop the Mafia from existing, legalizing pot won't stop the drug cartels. They're criminals who will find other ways to make money through crime even if pot was legalized nationwide.

Just please check out and read these articles below, Spree.

Is that some sort of a sarcastic joke, or not? What does that even mean?
