The high ratings of this movie were influenced by half naked men. That's the only explanation I got for how this sub-par movie received such praise. It didn't even feel like a Steven Soderbergh movie. It was average at best.
I thought it was tolerable. Maybe it's just my Soderbergh fanboy in me but I found it enjoyable.
I swear I'm straight.

I LOVE musicals, and this one is probably is up there with Rocky Horror as one of my favorites.
I love both of those movies.

Between "so how is your sex life?" to "FEED MEEEEEEE" you can't go wrong.

Last movie I saw...

The Place Beyond the Pines. I'd give it an 8/10.

Birdemic: another 10/10
I think it was as good/bad as The Room.
Any other suggestions for movies like those (preferably on Netflix streaming)

Have you seen Troll 2? It's a classic and right up there with The Room.

I just happened to see two movies that were really my thing, one after another. I usually tend to watch only things that I'm pretty sure I'll like so I generally do give positive reviews.

Now You See Me: 8.4/10

Wildly entertaining movie if you don't question every little trick that's done. Oh, and make sure you pay attention to the story closely. Pay-off at the end if you do.

[REC]

Bad, predictable, boring. Alright story saves it from going down to the extreme bottom.

3/10

I also saw Dream House.

Awful. Plot twist after like half of the movie, after that it stands still for about 50 minutes. Good example of a movie who thinks it can get away with having good actors, even though Daniel Craig didn't convince me 100% throughout the whole movie. Good plot twist, which you've spoiled for yourself because the idiot editors decided to put it in the trailer, but other than the plot twist it's very plain and boring. Don't watch.

2.5/10
