That's not true. Jesse could have called someone. Possibly the cops in case anything went wrong. He seemed to keep bringing up the idea. There have been three major head shots this season. The first two (the cousins and Thomas' killers) were clearly shown in full brutality. What reason could they have to not show the third one?

I'm betting Jesse killed someone else, or someone else killed Gale.

Not this show. They are so specific pertaining to little details. They had a purpose to not showing the kill. Something more significant than being a "cliffhanger". They're better story writers than that.

I'm sure there is more to the story but I still think there is no way Jesse is the one that got shot.

That's exactly what I was suspecting, Pan1c. Though on the episode recap on amctv, Vince Gilligan was acting as though he is expecting to get into Jesse's emotions after killing Gale. I guess that doesn't mean that much, as they do not get into talks about the next season for a while.

Oh god, I can't wait for next season. These next several months are going to suuuuuuck on sunday haha

And I don't think Jesse shot Gale either. You see him slowly turn to the right before he pulls the trigger, sort of like he's shooting the wall besides Gale out of anger because he can't do it. I'm guessing he will keep the gun pointed at Gale while the cronies come along and they will try to hatch out some sort of deal.
